AccessAlarm Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 9, 2026
In short: AccessAlarm does not collect, store on our servers, share or sell any personal information. Your alarms and settings stay on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. AccessAlarm has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics, no crash-reporting service and no third-party tracking. We do not have a server that receives data from the app.
What stays on your device
Your alarms (names, times, repeat choices, alert options, chosen messages, colours) and display settings (mode, black and white, high contrast, text size) are saved only on your iPhone, in the app's private storage. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
Permissions the app asks for
- Alarms (AlarmKit): so alarms can ring when the app is closed, when the phone is silent, or when a Focus is on. Alarm scheduling is handled by iOS.
- Flashlight: used only to flash the light during an alarm you turned that option on for. The app does not use the camera to take photos or video.
Voice
When an alarm speaks a message, it uses the speech voices built into iOS. The text is spoken on your device and is not sent to us or anyone else.
Children
AccessAlarm is suitable for children. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, including children, there is nothing to share or to delete. The app contains no ads and no in-app purchases, and does not let children communicate with others.
Links and credits
The Credits screen contains links to the licences of open-source components. Opening a link leaves the app and opens your browser. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
